21 Days of Prayer

Fruit of the Spirit: Love

(Galatians 5:22–23)

Welcome to Day 4 of 21 Days of Prayer

We’ve covered our Identity (Day 1), our Empowerment (Day 2), and the Intimacy of the Father (Day 3). Today, we focus on the evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives.

The Spirit doesn’t just give us power; He produces fruit. And the first, greatest, and most crucial fruit is Love.

This is not sentimental love. This is not selective love reserved only for those who agree with you. This is the supernatural love of God working through ordinary people.

Listen to the full list of what the Spirit produces:

Galatians 5:22–23 (ESV):

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

Love is listed first because everything else flows from it.

  • If the Spirit is active in your life, love is the evidence.
  • If the Spirit is active in our church, love is what people should feel the moment they walk in the door.

Love is not merely a feeling—it is a decision to actively work for the good of others. It’s the supernatural ability to see people through God’s eyes, transcending differences in culture, background, personality, and history.

At Transformation Life Church (TLC), God has blessed us with an incredibly diverse congregation—cultures from all over the world, generations sitting side by side, various languages, histories, and stories. This diversity is a powerful gift!

The only way all of that beautiful variety becomes a unified family is through the supernatural love of God being grown in us by the Holy Spirit. Love is the culture of the Kingdom, and it must be the culture of this house.

Your 21-Day Prayer Focus: Day 4

Today, we are praying for the Holy Spirit to stretch us and grow this supernatural love within us and across our church. Pray specifically for these three things:

  • For Unity Over Division: Pray that the Spirit’s love will actively overcome division, suspicion, misunderstanding, and offense within our church family. Pray that the love we profess will translate into tangible, visible unity.

  • For Love in Action: Ask the Lord to give you opportunities today to demonstrate concrete acts of love and kindness. Pray that our love will be visible—not just in our services, but in our conversations, in our homes, in our ministries, and in the way we serve one another and our neighbors.

  • For Stretching Love (Loving “The Other”): Pray that the Holy Spirit will specifically stretch your capacity to love someone who is not like you—whether due to background, age, or opinion. Ask Him to help you love across differences, generously, and without hesitation.

Your Action Step for Today (Confession & Action)

1- Action: Commit to doing one concrete act of kindness today toward someone who is different from you.

2- Confession: Say this out loud:

“Holy Spirit, grow love in me today. Help me love across differences, generously, and without hesitation. Let love be the visible evidence of Your work in me.”

Walk today with expectation: Let your life be the fruit of the Spirit.
