Healing, Deliverance, Brokenhearted & Lost

(Isaiah 61:1–3; James 5:14–16)

Welcome to Day 16 of 21 Days of Prayer

The Ministry of Restoration

We are standing today on one of the most powerful and compassionate themes in Scripture—Jesus as the Healer, Deliverer, Restorer, and Savior of the broken.
Healing is not a side ministry; it is the very ministry of Jesus flowing through His church.

Isaiah’s prophecy, which Jesus quoted about Himself, is our blueprint for ministry:

Isaiah 61:1–3 (ESV):
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound… to comfort all who mourn… that they may be called oaks of righteousness.”

Jesus binds the brokenhearted, frees the captive, lifts the oppressed, and saves the lost. The church is instructed to actively seek and expect this healing:

James 5:14–16 (ESV):
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders… and let them pray over him… And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up… pray for one another, that you may be healed.”

Today, we are praying against every form of suffering. We are asking God to move across Transformation Life Church (TLC) and our communities to bring total restoration:

• Physical Healing (from sickness and chronic pain).
• Emotional/Mental Healing (from anxiety, depression, and trauma).
• Deliverance (from addiction, fear, and spiritual oppression).
• Salvation (for the lost, breaking chains of unbelief).

We believe that where Jesus is exalted, healing flows. We expect Him to move in power today.

Your 21-Day Prayer Focus: Day 16

Today, we release the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring freedom and health. Pray specifically for these three things:

• For Widespread Healing (Physical & Mental): Pray for specific, miraculous physical healing for members of TLC who are battling sickness or chronic illness. Pray also for mental and emotional healing from anxiety, depression, and the residual effects of trauma.

• For Deliverance and Freedom: Pray for deliverance from addiction, cycles of fear, and spiritual oppression. Ask the Lord to proclaim liberty to the captives (Isaiah 61:1) within our church and community, restoring hope and stability.

• For Salvation of the Lost: Pray fervently for the lost and spiritually hungry in our sphere of influence. Ask God to break chains of unbelief, soften hearts, and use us as witnesses to draw people into His saving grace and mercy today.

Your Action Step for Today

• Action: Pray specifically for someone you know who is hurting—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. If possible, reach out to them today to encourage them and let them know they are seen, loved, and not alone.
• Confession: Say this out loud:
  “Jesus, bring healing, freedom, and salvation today. Restore the brokenhearted, rescue the lost, and let Your power be revealed in me and through our church.”

Walk today with expectation: We believe He will move in power today.
