21 Days of Prayer

Youth & the Next Generation

(Joel 2:28–29; 1 Timothy 4:12)

Welcome to Day 10 of 21 Days of Prayer

We have spent the last couple of days praying for identity, power, fruit, and unity. Today, we turn our focus to the next generation—the students, youth, children, and young adults God has entrusted to Transformation Life Church (TLC).

The future of the church is not something we are passively waiting for; it is already here, alive and breathingin our classrooms, youth services, and sanctuaries.

God has never treated young people as spiritual afterthoughts. He promises to pour out His Spirit on them:

Joel 2:28–29 (ESV):
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy… Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out My Spirit.”

God calls them, speaks through them, and uses them to stir revival. The call on them is to lead now:

1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV):
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

We are praying today for a spiritual awakening among our youth—not just for good programs, but for bold faith, passionate worship, deep discipleship, and supernatural encounters with the Holy Spirit.
This is a prayer for:

  • Students to hunger for God more than they hunger for the world.
  • Protection over their identity in Christ, their purity of mind and action, their purpose, and their calling.

We are praying for an army of young believers to rise up at TLC—full of courage, conviction, and compassion.

Your 21-Day Prayer Focus: Day 10

Today, let’s pray powerful prayers of activation and protection over the next generation. Pray specifically for these three things:

  • For a Spirit-Filled Generation (Joel 2:28): Pray that the Spirit would be poured out on our sons and daughters in a visible, undeniable way. Ask the Lord to activate prophetic gifting, boldness, and a deep hunger for the Word and prayer in the next generation.

  • For Protection and Purity (1 Timothy 4:12): Pray for supernatural protection over the identity and moral purity of our youth and young adults. Ask God to shield them from cultural pressures, confusion, and distraction, helping them set an example in conduct, love, faith, and purity.

  • For Ministries and Parents: Pray for the leadership, wisdom, and energy of every volunteer and staff member serving in our children’s, youth, and young adult ministries. Pray for every parent raising the next generation, asking God to empower them to speak blessing and truth into their children’s lives.

Your Action Step for Today

1- Action: Pray for a student or child by name. If you are a parent, speak a specific blessing over your children. If you are not, pray for a child or student you know in the church.

2- Confession: Say this out loud:
“Lord, pour out Your Spirit on our sons and daughters. Raise up a bold, Spirit-filled generation at TLC that sets an example for us all.”

Walk today with expectation: They are the church of today, and God is ready to move in them powerfully.
