“HEAVENLY GPS”
(Isaiah 32:1 – 35:10)

“And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.” – Isaiah 35:8

Do you have a GPS system in your car or on your phone? I sure do, and I have grown to depend upon it! Wherever I go, I enter my final destination, and the GPS maps out the best route for me to arrive promptly and safely.

It is comforting to know that God’s “GPS” is already mapped out for us! It is the “Highway of Holiness!” You see, if your desired destination is to be in heaven with the Lord, then you need to allow Christ to cleanse you of your sin (“the unclean shall not pass over it”). We need to walk on His way, even if it may at times seem “foolish” in our own eyes. Know that He will protect you all along that highway – “no lion shall be there… no ravenous beast shall come up on it.”

When we follow God’s Highway of Holiness, we will have everlasting joy and gladness! And, all sorrow and sighing will flee away!

That’s the best kind of GPS! Follow it today!

Simple Truth:
When we allow the Lord to direct our paths, He will care for us and provide for us all along the way!

Reflections and Application:

  • Begin each day with prayer, asking the Lord to guide your pathway (Proverbs 3:5-6)

  • Include studying His Word as a part of each day! His Word is a light to your path! (Psalm 119:105)

  • Listen to His voice – He will direct you to the left or the right! (Isaiah 30:21)

Closing Prayer…
Heavenly Father, let me not lean on my own understanding, but rather in all my ways acknowledge You. I trust that you will lead me and guide me in the paths of righteousness. Thank you, Lord, for speaking to me in Your “still small voice.” I ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.
