Why prayer matters
At Transformation Life Church, we believe God is present, active, and faithful. Through prayer, we seek His wisdom, surrender our burdens, and make room for His peace to direct our lives.
1. Prayer brings us near to God.
God never intended for us to handle life alone. He invites us to come close to Him with honesty, faith, and dependence.
“Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

2. Prayer gives us peace.
Prayer doesn’t mean life will instantly become easy, but it helps us to place our worries in God’s hands and receive a peace that surpasses understanding.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

3. Prayer aligns us with God’s will
Prayer isn’t just about asking God for what we want. It teaches us to trust God’s wisdom and direction, to align our lives with his good plan.

Prayer strengthens our faith.
Prayer reminds us that God is bigger than any obstacle we face. It helps us keep our eyes on Him, even when we don’t have all the answers.
