21 Days of Prayer

Bold Witness & Evangelism

(Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16)

Welcome to Day 19 of 21 Days of Prayer

We’ve prayed for power, protection, and wisdom. Today, we are praying for boldness—supernatural courage to share the Gospel in everyday life.
Evangelism is not a personality type; it is the overflow of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life. We are commanded to be witnesses, and the power to do so is freely given.

The Great Commission begins with a promise of empowerment:

Acts 1:8 (ESV):
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

We are not ashamed of this message because it is the only source of salvation:

Romans 1:16 (ESV):
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”

Witnessing is not about having all the theological answers. It’s about having the right message (the Gospel of Christ) and the courage to speak it.

When the Holy Spirit fills us, He gives us power to testify:

  • Power to speak through fear.
  • Power to share Jesus naturally in conversation.
  • Power to pray for people boldly in public.
  • Power to live the Gospel visibly in our conduct.

Today we are praying for this boldness to explode in every sphere of Transformation Life Church (TLC): at home, at work, at school, in neighborhoods, and online. We are asking God to give our church a fresh burden for the lost—a real compassion that moves us beyond our comfort zone.

Your 21-Day Prayer Focus: Day 19

Today, we pray for the courage to speak and the hearts of the lost to be softened. Pray specifically for these three things:

  • For Supernatural Boldness (Acts 1:8): Pray for the Holy Spirit to release a supernatural boldnesswithin you and across TLC. Ask God to remove the fear of man, embarrassment, and timidity, replacing it with the courage to speak through fear and share the Gospel naturally.

  • For Divine Appointments and Open Hearts: Pray for divine appointments this week—specific opportunities to share your story or Christ’s hope with a coworker, neighbor, or family member. Ask God to open the hearts of the lost to receive the message of salvation.

  • For a Burden for the Lost (Romans 1:16): Pray that God would instill in our church a deep, tangible compassion and urgency for the lost. Ask that our evangelism would flow from genuine love, reflecting the power of the Gospel for salvation.

Your Action Step for Today

Action: Pray for one person in your life who does not yet know Jesus. Say their name before God, asking Him to draw them, soften them, and give you an opportunity to speak life into their situation this week.

Confession: Say this out loud:
“Lord, I am not ashamed of the Gospel. Fill me with boldness. Use me as Your witness. Give me courage to share the power of salvation today.”

Walk today with expectation: A church full of witnesses becomes a church full of new believers, and that’s what we are believing for.
