WEEK 8 DAY 4 — PLACING THE WORD OF GOD INTO THE HANDS OF MISSIONARIES

LIGHT FOR THE LOST / FIRE BIBLE

Imagine being a pastor in a remote village somewhere in the world. Called by God to reach and shepherd the people in your community. But you have a problem – you have almost no resources. Maybe a worn Bible. Or only a few pages of Scripture. There is no Bible school nearby. No theological library. No internet training. Yet people gather together desperate to be taught God’s Word.

This is the reality for thousands of pastors around the world.

That’s where LIGHT FOR THE LOST comes in.

LIGHT FOR THE LOST provides missionaries with the evangelism tools they need to reach people with the gospel – Bibles, gospel literature, audio and video resources, digital tools, and materials that help them share Jesus effectively in villages, cities, refugee camps, and remote regions.

One of the most powerful resources made possible through LIGHT FOR THE LOST is the FIRE BIBLE.

The FIRE BIBLE is a special study Bible designed specifically for pastors and leaders around the world. It contains thousands of study notes, articles, and teaching helps that equip pastors to understand Scripture and teach it faithfully.

For many leaders, the FIRE BIBLE becomes their entire Bible training library in one book.

And the impact is incredible.

One FIRE BIBLE equips one pastor.
That pastor disciples a church.
That church reaches a community.
And the gospel spreads.

When we give to missions and LIGHT FOR THE LOST, we are not just supporting a program. We are placing the Word of God into the hands of pastors, leaders, and new believers around the world.

There are still billions of people who need access to God’s Word in their own language, and through LIGHT FOR THE LOST and the FIRE BIBLE project, we can help make that possible.

During MISSIONS WEEK, would you prayerfully consider what you should give? Your generosity and sacrifice helps bring the light of God’s Word to lost.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:14 …
“This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.”

Together, we get to be part of that mission.

Transferred Allegiance

Acts 2:38 shows that repentance is more than regret. It is a transfer of allegiance. Peter calls people to turn toward Jesus as Lord, publicly identify with Him in baptism, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
