“HALLELUJAH!”
(Psalm 107:1-43; 111:1-10; 112:1-10)
“Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good for his steadfast love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1
Hallelujah is a beautiful word. It is a word of praise. We say it to thank God. We say it to celebrate God’s goodness. Hallelujah means praise the Lord.
Psalm 107 tells us to give thanks to the Lord. It says to give thanks for his steadfast love. It says to give thanks for his wonderful works. God’s love is steady. His works are amazing. We should praise him for these things.
Psalm 111 tells us to praise the Lord with our whole heart. It says his works are great. They are to be studied by all who delight in them. God’s work is full of honor and majesty. His righteousness endures forever. We can be happy in his works.
Psalm 112 tells us that a person who fears the Lord is blessed. This person delights greatly in his commands. Their children will be mighty. Their family will be blessed. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright. The righteous are gracious and merciful. The righteous are generous. They conduct their affairs with justice.
Hallelujah is a good word. We can say it at all times. We can say it in good times. We can say it in bad times. We can say Hallelujah to God. We can praise him for his love. We can praise him for his works. We can praise him for his goodness. Let us all say Hallelujah.
